Brake Disc
A brake disc, also known as a brake rotor, is a critical component of modern automotive braking systems, working in tandem with brake pads to safely slow or stop a vehicle. When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure forces the brake pads to clamp onto the flat, circular surface of the disc, generating friction that converts the vehicle's kinetic energy into thermal energy, effectively decelerating the wheels.
